CM II on Sprint NV project in Nashville, TN. I was the AAV coordinator from start-up (10/2011-11/2012), managed Nashville Toy cell install at switch.  On 12/12 I moved over to scheduling and tracking site construction progress, holding weekly conference calls with CMs and individual SPs and reporting daily in morning joint Ericsson/Sprint conference calls. (Took Ericsson mandated 45 day leave after 20 months.)

  CM II on AT&T UMTS 2nd , 3rd and 4th carrier adds in Memphis and Chattanooga, TN, 6/2011-10/2011.

 

MASTEC    (Contracted through SCOM)                2/2011-4/2011                            

 

  On short term contract with Mastec as a CM for AT&T cell-site fiber upgrades in Alabama market. My responsibilities included issuing NTPs to contractors, scheduling civil construction and coordinating with landlords.  I created punch lists, received, reviewed and accepted close-out packages. Early on I also received material deliveries and signed them out to contractors.

I was responsible for new cell site construction for a new HSPA UMTS network (Globalive) in the Toronto, ON (Canada) market. Mainly rooftop sites, RF and T-1 carried over fiber, all sites linked via microwave. Other activities listed below:

 

·   Managed and scheduled contractors, interacted with landlords and approved/rejected out of scope work submittals by contractors.

·   I met with building engineers, managers and owners regarding proposed routing through buildings to reach understanding and agreement.

·   Scheduled and conducted Pre-Construction walks with representatives from RF, A&E and General Contractors on sites.

·   Ensured industry construction and safety standards were adhered to on all sites.

·   Created punch lists, performed Final Inspections and submitted for Final Acceptance by client.

·   Inspected and when required directed corrections for faulty microwave dish installs, azimuths and connections for my sites.

·   Fiber was utilized for all Telco and RF within sites.

·   After my sites were completed I was asked to stay on in the war room on site integration.  I coordinated cell techs in the field, provided updated scripts, tracked progress, handled issues with equipment, microwave links and site access to resolution.

·                                       Responsible for new builds for Sprint/Nextel in Mid & East Tennessee.

·                                       CM over the Clearwire build in Birmingham, AL at the same time which didn’t proceed beyond kick-off meeting. I made site visits and lined up power and telco before Clearwire’s pull-back.

·                                       Put together BOMs, pricing and ordering.

·                                       Setup and coordinated kick-off meetings on site with client, tower owners, representatives from power and telco providers, and GCs.

·                                       Created and maintained site schedules, coordinated material delivery schedules and made frequent visits to sites under construction to ensure that quality and safety standards were upheld.
